Rapper Bash Brinks Drops New Record Called On My Own

Sebastian Simon, (b. April 27th, 1993) better known by his stage name Bash Brinks (stylized Brink$), is an up and coming hip-hop artist hailing from the infamous Queens Bridge Housing Projects, born and raised. Known for bringing a “swag rap” flavor to his listeners amidst gritty story telling from his every day experiences in “The Bridge” , he brings to you something the game may be missing a little, VERSATILITY.

Brinks attributed his father as being the person that ignited his love for hip-hop. Being an avid listener of Rakim, his father would frequently have the artist’s intricate lyrics bumping out of the family room stereo, as Brinks memorizes his first song lyrics at the age of four, the words to “Stay A While” by Rakim. Fast forward six years later “Beg For Mercy” the debut album of hip-hop super group, G-Unit, is the staple in Brinks’ life that drew him into pursuing a career in the industry at that very moment.

At first just simply making tracks upon tracks with his neighborhood friends, the year is now 2014 with the dawn of 2015 approaching, Bash claims this upcoming year as a big one for him, something like a Phoenix rising from the ashes. Never really putting out his work to the ears of the public, the time is NOW as he seeks to change that immediately.
